Ingredients:

  • SPRITZ butter cooking spray
  • Sugar-free maple syrup
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or your preferred sweetener)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Prep your pan: Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Spray lightly with SPRITZ butter cooking spray.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Combine wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the almond milk, egg white, honey, and vanilla extract.
  4. Create the batter: Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Cook the pancakes: Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the heated pan for each pancake.

Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.

  1. Serve: Top with fresh fruit, sugar-free syrup, or a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Tips:

  • For extra fluffiness, let the egg white come to room temperature before whisking.
  • Experiment with different toppings to customize your pancakes!
  • Store leftover pancakes in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Enjoy your delicious and low-calorie breakfast!
